These have made rounding up my free range chickens much easier. Open the can where they are stored, a short call and everyone comes running for treats. I've been buying these for at least the last 3 years and no plans to stop.
The 5 lbs bag is fresh from start to finish. The worms are the favorite food for our birds all year long. The adults feed them to the fledglings who soon line up for the special treat. Worms add protein to the diet of adults when they are molting.
